Wreaths Across America Day Brought Thousands to Arlington National Cemetery

On the 31st Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers placed wreaths on the headstones of heroes at over 34,000 locations worldwide, including at Arlington National Cemetery.

It is estimated that thousands of volunteers placed over 260,000 wreaths at Arlington alone.

“In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. There is no better time to express our appreciation than during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season,” according to Wreaths Across America’s website.
