One of the most prestigious and premiere car events on the East Coast, The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style returns to Alexandria, VA on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Fourth Annual Old Town Festival of Speed & Style, presented by Alexandria-based Burke & Herbert Bank, will feature more than 100 rare and incredible supercars, racing cars and high-performance vehicles, that will be on display for all to see up-close. In addition to the cars gracing the lower street of Old Town, a fashion celebration will also be held to complement the “Style” element of these spectacular vehicles, along with live music and sponsor activations making it a fun event for the entire family.
The Festival is free and open to the public for all to enjoy.
Last year, the Festival drew an estimated 15,000 spectators to the lower King Street area.
The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style is, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization, that raised funds for two Alexandria-based nonprofits ALIVE! and the Campagna Center. ALIVE! Is dedicated to fighting poverty and hunder in the Alexandria community and the Campagna Center aids children and families with resources they need to thrive and succeed.

In collaboration with, and in support of the emerging scholars program, the Erkiletian family (owners of The Wildset Hotel & Ruse) are hosting an intimate evening at their family farm in St. Michaels, Maryland, this June.
Dinner will be prepared in the garden by MICHELIN Star Chef Michael Rafidi of Albi in Washington, D.C. in collaboration with Chef Michael Correll of Ruse in St. Michaels, Maryland.
Tickets include a one night stay at Wildset, artisan cocktail house and hors d’oeuvres, tasting menu prepared by Chef MIchael Rafidi and Michael Correll, wine pairing by sommelier William Simons and Allie Balin, after dinner fireside cocktails, a donation to Emerging Scholars, an organization that is near to the hearts of the Erkiletian family.

Tysons Corner Center hosts its 2nd annual Paws on the Plaza on Saturday June 3rd. Pups are invited to roam the dog park with obstacles and splash pads, while adults are invited to enjoy the Beer Garden, visit local vendors, including Woofbowl + Woofie’s of McLean or take part in other activations, like a pet friendly photobooth and free caricatures of your pet. The event is sponsored by Becky’s Pet Care, Dyson and PetMedic Urgent Care is free and open to the public.

The Trust for the National Mall is pleased to invite you to attend a FREE commemorative concert on the 79th Anniversary of the D-Day operation at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial! Join in on June 6 from 6 – 7 PM to enjoy a musical performance by an ensemble from the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” to commemorate this decisive World War II battle which was overseen by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, then the Supreme Allied Commander, Allied Expeditionary Forces.
This event is open and free to the public, and we encourage you to bring guests of all ages! We hope you will join us for this special event commemorating the largest amphibious invasion at the time and to commemorate Eisenhower’s leadership. The Eisenhower Memorial is located at Independence Avenue and 4th St SW, Washington DC.
