On actual National Meatball Day (March 9) at Lena’s, will be offering 50% off Lena’s Giant Meatball Appetizer and Spaghetti and Meatball entree in restaurants and online all day.  Lena’s meatball is a 10 oz. house-made all-beef meatball, stuffed with fresh mozzarella and covered in house-made marinara sauce.  The history behind Lena’s giant meatball comes from Lena’s owner the Yates family’s mother who made her signature giant meatball recipe to help feed her four sons faster, because making smaller meatballs took too long to feed her large growing family.
