Join Roofers Union on Tuesday, August 27 at 6PM as The Bruery taps into its upcoming
Preservation Society exclusive releases. Come out and have a beer with Society members and The Bruery team. The event is open to the public in addition to their group’s beer club members.
Beer geeks will rejoice at seeing two of the most sought after bottled beers of last year’s releases available at the event. Folks will get a taste of the Elizabeth Rutherford, co-fermented with Napa-sourced Cabernet Sauvignon aged in New French Oak, and the Bourgogne Noir, a sour blonde co-fermented with Pinot Noir grapes, a touch of carbonation adds a slightly prickly sensation to the pallet. These beers are some of Roofers Union GM and Beer Director, Dave Delaplaine’s, favorite beers in the last several years.
Draft beers featured in the Bruery takeover include:
Paws and Claws – two new offshoot August release beers, an ipa and a dipa respectively.
Vermont Sticky Maple– A perfect maple syrup to complement this barrel-aged imperial stout, it’s sticky and decadent, with a subtly sweet and big bold mouthfeel (11.3% ABV).
Chocolate Reign– The elevated version of Chocolate Rain – a double barrel-aged imperial stout with cacao nibs and vanilla beans (21% ABV).
Mash & French Toast– A bourbon barrel-aged barleywine ale, joining forces with even stickier, malt-forward forces from our barrel warehouse to create the gooey-sweet profile with hints of caramel and rich maple character, summoning spices and warm vanilla notes (13.7% ABV).
Island Time – A sweet stout brewed with Hawaiian sea salt and lactose; with marshmallow, toasted coconut, and natural vanilla flavor added (8.6% ABV).
S.H.I.T S’mores – A rich Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with marshmallow, cacao, graham cracker and vanilla added (15% ABV).
Retreat – DIPA brewed with a simple malt bill and hopped heavily with fruit-forward Mosaic, Cashmere and el dorado for aromatic tropical notes (8.6% ABV).
Relax – An unfiltered, fresh and full of hop flavor IPA without the bitterness, leaving citrusy notes (6.8% ABV).
Spontanaheim – A spontaneously fermented sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels (5.8% ABV).
Wit The Funk – brewed with an orange peel and fermented with wit yeast, resulting in a complex sour wheat beer that is tart, funky, oaky and citrusy (5.4 ABV%).
