On September 12, Mike Isabella is hosting a block party to celebrate the 2015 openings of his three MIC restaurants in Arlington. The event will feature live entertainment along with signature food and drinks. There will be sips and bites from Kapnos Taverna, Pepita and Yona, which is opening this fall.

This September, Urbana’s Chef Ethan McKee will bring back his popular cooking classes emphasizing handmade pastas. The first installment will highlight the end of summer with pasta dishes made with produce from Chef Ethan’s rooftop garden on property.
Guests will take turns rolling and shaping gnocchi, pappardelle, an ravioli while learning how everyday kitchen tools can be used to fashion fresh, fast-cooking pastas. Featured dishes will include potato gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and arugula pesto butter; Tuscan kale pappardelle with zucchini leeks and organic mushrooms; and ricotta ravioli with spicy eggplant Bolognese.

This season, Emmy nominated costume designer Daniel Lawson will be joining Lafayette 148 New York for an exclusive fashion presentation at Saks Fifth Avenue at Chevy Chase, Maryland on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11am.
