Tackle Box Opens New Location with Big Bash in Cleveland Park

Looking to build your own lobster pot?  Tackle Box‘s newest location in Cleveland Park unveiled this new option along with other variations to the popular seafood spot’s menu Tuesday night.

No shrimpy grand opening party, owners Jonathan and Bethany Umbel (kissing with the crustacean) welcomed local VIPs such as Mayor’s son Carlos Gray, WUSA9’s Andrea Roane, NBC4’s John Shriffen, Capital Cooking’s Lauren DeSantis to try steamed seafood, corn on the cob, red bliss potatoes and drawn butter.

The new restaurant shares the same nautical themed decor as the first location:dangling buoys, vintage lobster traps and distressed wooden planks… and features an antique American Flag from the year 1908… to enjoy while you feed on the fish.
