Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. SportsBuzz has Public Launch

A new interactive sports site celebrated its launch at Public Bar Monday night, bringing in athletes and their fans for a sneak peek and specials.

SportsBuzz.com focuses on NFL, NBA, MLB, and the NHL by creating a community of avid sports supporters  – with athletes at the center – featuring exclusive content and direct interactive access to teams and individual players.

Redskins Chris Cooley, Fred Davis, and Reed Doughty were athletes in attendance who were also among those featured as “most searched” on the website during launch.

Those wanting a SportsBuzz.com all access subscription will pay a monthly fee, but a two week free trial is currently available.
