Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Royal Weddings at the Ritz

America’s obsession with Will and Kate continues.  Now couples can create their own royal wedding experience at the Ritz, getting hitched like their Royal Highnesses in high style.  


The Ritz-Carlton, Washington DC’s Royal Wedding Experience was unveiled Wednesday, including everything from turning the ballroom into your own Westminster Abbey or Buckingham Palace, authentic English (or other exceptional) arrangements and decor by Capital Events & Decor, vintage jewels by Tiny Jewel Box, music by Entertainment Exchange,  royal wedding wardrobe by SAKS Chevy Chase, a custom cake by the Ritz’s Executive Pastry Chef Daniel Mangione and the bride’s own couture gown custom made by one of the design partners at Carine’s Bridal Atelier.


The noble nuptial experience comes out just in time for couples to channel Prince William and Princess Catherine’s wedding of the decade.
