Marking one month before the big event which brings fashion designer Christian Siriano and his complete Spring 2012 Collection to DC, Pink Rocks the Runway held a kick off event at Dirty BarTuesday night.
Guests wore every powerful to pale shade of pink to show support as they tasted and toasted – with each select appetizer and cocktail purchased providing a direct donation toward the charity events’ breast cancer awareness efforts.
A silent auction and raffle, won by Pink Rocks the Runway Host Committee member Chris Brown, helped to raise hundreds more as ticket purchases for the October 21st show continued to pour in.“We only have a handful of front row seats left,” founder Christa Floresca explained to attendees who wanted to secure the best views of the show. And for those who want to be in it? The committee is holding a preliminary model call Sunday evening at the same venue.
