Last Thursday (7/25/19) night, Turkish Ambassador, His Excellency Serdar Kiliç and city foodies came together to toast the grand opening of Agora Tysons (7911 Westpark Drive). The 4,000 second location of this popular Dupont Circle mediterranean/mezze dining room is located in the luxe Nouvelle residences.
Husband-and-wife duo Ismail and Betul Uslu welcomed guests, including the Ambassador, with samplings of traditional Turkish, Lebanese, and Greek flavors. Favorites included Agora’s signature pide, falafel, and kafta.
Sips of Lion’s Milk rounded out the evening – a Turkish delicacy made with Raki vodka, a sweetened anise-flavored spirit.
