The culmination of a month of mustache growing, Mustaches for Kids ‘Stache Bash brought together a group of guys with two goals: raise money to support the Children’s National Medical Center... and win the title of “Sweetest Stach!”
The Mustache Growers were judged on a variety of phases of competition, such as the quality and amount of foam left on their facial hair after drinking a pint of Guinness, and wore costumes to match their ‘staches personality.
Jacques Arsenault, the evening’s emcee, took home the trophy for “Most Fundraisingest,” bringing in thousands for the Children’s National Medical Center, which raised over $51,000 by night’s end.
For his mustache and moves in the Final 3 Dance Off, Spanky Means (Hulk Hogan) won “Creepiest ‘Stache.” And Isaiah Wyden Akin — a ringer for Teddy Roosevelt — took home the coveted “Sweetest ‘Stache” trophy.
