Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Miss A’s p.i.n.k. Poodle Party, Plus

Last night I made sure to stop by Tattoo for Miss A’s p.i.n.k. party to benefit the Washington Humane Society. Andrea is raising money to walk the runway in this year’s Fashion for Paws campaign, and came away from last night’s efforts with nearly a third of her goal!

Just steps away, at The Park at Fourteenth, Ne-Yo was hosting a bash with vodka sponsor Belvedere for Pandora’s Art of Euphoria event. I haven’t heard of anyone actually meeting (or seeing Ne-Yo) but it’s fun that he’s in the charity hosting mix in DC right now… and not in NYC for Fashion Week like Kanye West.
