Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Director Ray Griggs stopped by a preview of his latest film “I Want Your Money” at DC’s Atelier Theatre Tuesday night. The conservative documentarian told guests that they couldn’t afford not to see his take on government spending and national debt – even if some contributors couldn’t afford to see their names in the credits.
