Halloween Haunts and Happenings

Still scaring up some fun for Halloween?  Here’s our list of some of the best Boo Bashes in town:

Spooktacular Halloween Boo Cruise 
Through the scary season, enjoy food and frights as you float through the night (9:30 – Midnight) on the Spirit of Washington. Only $43.90 per person!

Young Members of the National Press Club Annual Ghoulish Bash
October 29th, 8:00 PM in the NPC Holeman Lounge
Enjoy an open bar of potions, poisons and witches brew, tricks, treats, devilish appetizers and classic horror flicks while listening to spooktacular live music by Walk of Shame and watching the “Belly Babes” cabaret dancers.
$30 for NPC members and guests.  $40 at the door.

Boo at the Zoo
October 22 – 24th.  During these three days of frightful fun, thousands of little ghosts and goblins will mingle amongst the creepiest of critters.  Saturday’s event is already sold out so get your tickets now!

Violence is Scary 
Indulge on two hours of open bar shocktails and horror d’ouevres from Lima and trick-or-treat sweets from Georgetown cupcake, graveyard grooves, a costume contest and more.  Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction benefit WEAVE. October 30th, 6:30 – 10:30, $30.

Surreal DC: Magical Halloween Masquerade
Are you imagining things??  October 30th at the Surreal DC Mansion, Artomatic and iStrategy Labs host a surreal event that will have you wonder if you’re seeing spooks.  Only $20.00

Tilted Torch Spook-O-Rama
For something a little different to keep you on the edge of your seat, the Tilted Torch variety show makes it to DC. The ghouls and goblins will make you scream for more of their sinister fire play, haunting bellydances, wicked pasties, ruthless ragtime and more.  October 30th, doors open at 8:00.  Tickets $20.
