Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Gotta Play to Win

Even those who have never gambled in their lives were opening their wallets to play some lucky numbers Tuesday.  The night’s Mega Millions jackpot reached $355 million – the second largest payout in the game’s history.


We asked those who played to win just what they would do if they actually won:


“No one I love would ever have to work again or want for anything… and I’d be sending you love from Grand Cayman,” said Christa F. on our Facebook fan page, with Maurisa P. adding “I would buy a shoe sanctuary filled with Christian Louboutin shoes.”


Via our Twitter, @Bourbon_Toddy vowed to quit his “sucky job and move to an island,” while @seanagnew gave his nod to even greater ambition.  “I’d buy an election,” he wrote.   


The winning numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 with a Mega Ball of 42.  If no winners come forward, Friday’s jackpot could top $400 million.
