On Friday, December 6 from 4-8pm and Saturday, December 7 from 12-7pm, the Heurich House Museum presents Dupont Circle’s first and only holiday craft market together with its annual Christmas Open House. Take self-guided tours of the exquisitely preserved brewmaster’s home decorated as the German family would have designed it almost 100 years ago. Wander through the twinkling lights and tents of the Christkindlmarkt featuring a carefully curated collection of local artistans. The event is a MADE IN DC Marketplace as part of Shop Local First Week. Sponsor Café Berlin, the German Capital Hill eatery, will offer traditional treats traditional including sausages, pastries, glühvine. Guests can enjoy German carols and a silent auction featuring rare nutcrackers in the museum’s beautiful Conservatory.
