In partnership with the Adams Morgan BID, Carpe DC Food Tours is thrilled to host the first annual Flavors of AdMo Food Crawl on September 29, 2018 from 11am-5pm to celebrate the rich diversity found in Adams Morgan.
This exciting self-guided culinary excursion takes adventurers around the world in one afternoon, stopping at restaurants that have shaped historic Adams Morgan, while learning about Washington, DC’s rich and storied past. The food crawl includes 6 tastes at local favorites including El Tamarindo, Federalist Pig, Le Pop, NiceCream, BUL and Zenebech.
“We’re excited to work with the Adams Morgan BID to create a trip that we’d do ourselves,” says Mary Collins, founder of Carpe DC Food Tours. “It’s the best way to learn about the District’s past and its rapidly-evolving culinary future!”
At check-in, guests will receive a special wristband and a passport with a map to redeem tapas-sized tastings like pumpkin toast, pupusas, BBQ wings, and handcrafted ice cream made to order.
The Flavors of AdMo Food Crawl is available on September 29, 2018 from 11am-5pm. Tickets are $79 per person, and include one tasting at each of the 6 locations. Vegetarian options are available at time of ticket purchase. The crawls are walkable, covering a distance of just over a mile, and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Guests may visit restaurants in any order they choose during the hours of the events. Tickets are available online now at http://carpedcfoodtours.com.
