Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. The Commentary Social House will be launching a Craft Beer Dinner Series starting this January in partnership with Port City Brewing. Guests can enjoy their favorite beer and seasonal dishes while receiving expert tips on how to pair delicious craft beers with their next meal.

A portion of proceeds from the Craft Beer Dinners will be donated to Save the Children. The first dinner in the series will be in partnership with Port City Brewing on Thursday, January 19th from 7 pm – 9 pm.  Executive Chef Francecil Ponte has collaborated with Port City Brewing to pair their seasonal and specialty brews with a five-course menu (see below).
