EUROVISION Comes to DC

EUROVISION, an annual international song competition and the largest televised event in Europe, is currently whittling down candidates from top countries in anticipation of the final revue in Düsseldorf on May 14th.  But computer screens and couches just can’t be the coolest way to watch this spectacle!

Join in as EUROVISION airs in DC at the Goethe-Institut (812 7th Street NW), broadcasting simultaneously with its German city counterpart (in cooperation with EUNIC) on Saturday, May 14, 2:30 – 6 PM.

Europolitics correspondent Brian Beary and K Street Kate’s Kate Michael will provide culture commentary as guests enjoy refreshments, engage in real time voting for their favorites, and participate in a creative country costume competition.  Tickets $5, available via RSVP here.
