Defensive Lineman Albert Haynesworth Goes “Gangster” at Redskins Rides

Outspoken Defensive Lineman Albert Haynesworth (autographing at left) made it to the Redskin Park practice field Sunday after Saturday night’s pre-season loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

But he wasn’t there for conditioning.  He was there for his cars.

Joining auto enthusiasts, fans and other Redskin players – including Antwaan Randle El, Chris Cooley, Chris Horten (below left) and Fred Smoot – Haynesworth showed off two of his favorites at the third annual Redskins Rides car show, presented by Eastern Motors.

So does he go for the fast and flashy?

Haynesworth’s “true gangster rides” are actually vintage Detroit steel custom cars which the Mobsteel website describes as “modern day menacing street machines.”

And it seems despite Coach Shanahan playing their owner “second string”, Haynesworth’s first-class rides were the toast of the team.
