DC Design House Opens April 9th

The 4th annual DC Design House benefiting Children’s National Medical Center opens to the public on April 9th with the area’s top designers each taking a room to feature in the “flowing design home.” This year’s house, built in 1925 for George N. Everett, second vice president and treasurer at Woodward & Lothrop department stores, is an English Country Tudor home located at 3134 Ellicott Street, NW.

Between April 9 and May 8, the home is open for public viewing, tickets $20. Not only will design ideas be plentiful and individual pieces available for purchase on site (to be removed at the close of the Design house public viewing period), but the whole home is currently for sale!
