Circle of Care Reception at the Egyptian Embassy

The Egyptian Embassy, Ambassador (at left) and Mrs. Sameh Shoukry, hosted Washington’s top philanthropists and the country’s top medical researchers in partnership with the Children’s National Medical Center on Monday evening for a Circle of Care celebration.

Children’s Circle of Care, an annual giving program and major gifts club for the leading benefactors of 25 prominent children’s hospitals in North America, recognizes individuals, couples or family foundations who contribute $10,000 or more per year.

Those in attendance feasted on Mediterranean cuisine and Egyptian delicacies and learned about food allergies and immunology – a growing division for CNM – from Children’s physician Hemant Prashad Sharma, MD.
