In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alexandria-based co-working brand ALX Community held its first-ever ALX Pink Gala to support local non-profit organization, National Breast Center Foundation at the ALX Community Atrium.
The evening featured a silent auction, giveaways, an open bar, catered hors d’oeuvres by Purple Onion Catering Company, and interactive entertainment — all with a pink theme for breast cancer awareness.
The event also featured special guest, Fox5 reporter Ayesha Khan, a breast cancer survivor, who shared her journey when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer during the pandemic in 2021.
The gala raised over $60,000 for The National Breast Center Foundation, which has built and maintained a network of cancer-care providers.
