Learn to Salsa at La Cosecha

Put on your dancing shoes and ¡bailamos! at La Cosecha (1280 4th Street NE), the Union Market District’s new Latin marketplace, for Baila Thursdays, a weekly, all-levels salsa experience.

Luz Rodriguez-Mercier, an internationally acclaimed instructor/performer and co-founder/director of the city’s largest salsa school, DC Style Salsa Academy, will teach lessons for beginners from 7 to 8pm for $15 (salsa class + social ticket) each week through November 2020. Hang around after class to enjoy drink specials from La Cosecha’s cocktail bar Serenata, included with your lesson purchase. For seasoned salsa veterans, join local salseros y salseras for open dance from 8 to 10pm for $7 (salsa social ticket), while DJ Gustoso spins the hottest Latin hits.
