Three of the Navy Yard’s Best Places to Watch Nationals Games This Year

Thank goodness that even in the tumult of this year, baseball is back! Though stands may be silent, there’s still a great place to watch the rest of the World Series Champion Washington Nationals’ season — even from your own window!

That’s right. What if you had a way to see every home game, with a bird’s-eye view of center field, even while there’s a shutout at the stadium? That’s what a few lucky renters at JBG Smith’s luxury apartment building in Navy Yard, West Half are able to boast.

Sitting directly next to the stadium, with windows across from the Centerfield gate, a few deluxe suites with insane, panoramic aerial views of Nationals’ Park were available for rent.

Nearby, at Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners’ The Kelvin, resident fans can also get those coveted direct ballpark views… from the 11th story rooftop. (And when there’s no baseball, you’ll be up there enjoying the heated pool!)

But if moving to the Navy Yard just isn’t possible yet, you can still visit the neighborhood and cheer on the champs from Atlas Brew Works Half Street Brewery & Tap Room, adjacent to the Center Field Gate. Raise a pint of Bullpen Pilsner — a craft lager brewed in partnership with the Nationals — as you watch the action from televisions broadcasting the game with sound.

Fans may only be able to enjoy America’s favorite pastime from outside the stadium this year, but they can still see their favorite players get a homerun… at their residence, rooftop, or favorite restaurant.
