“A Christmas Carol” Haunts Scrooges at Ford’s Theatre

“Bah, Humbug!”

Whether you’re in the spirit, or needing a visit from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future to get there, one of the season’s most beloved tales is now on stage at one of DC’s most historic theatres.

Continuing its season with Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” as adapted by Michael Wilson, Ford’s Theatre‘s audience will relive the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge’s miserable journey of transformation and redemption with a music-infused production through December 30th.

“This heartwarming telling of Dickens’s ghost-filled story celebrates the season with enough merriment to refresh even the most disheartened of spirits, and reminds us that it is never too late to re-examine our lives and choices and to transform our thinking,” says Ford’s Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault.

Well, that, and the fun of chanting along when Tony Tim says “God Bless Us, Every One!”
