Yes, I am under a gag order from CMT and P B & J Entertainment… but I can tell you that I am back from filming “Becoming Miss America: Pageant School” and I had an incredible time in Santa Monica!!
The 52 of us eventually got used to having battery packs and microphones strapped and pinned to our wardrobe, changing outfits 5 or more times a day, and participating in friendly “competition” – I’ll leave it at that! You’ll be able to watch the “reality” show when it airs in January on CMT, VH1, MTV, and LoGo. Who will win the title of Pageant School Queen? Could it be me?? The audience of the show also has the opportunity to elect the winner of Miss Congeniality for the 2007 Miss America Pageant, which will be announced live on air during Miss America on January 29, 2007. Be sure to vote!!
Apart from filming, I also had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Hollywood, walk along the Hollywood Stars, see the famous handprints in front of Grummand Theater, and mingle with celebrities at a reception in our honor at the famous Roosevelt Hotel! The most thrilling thought was that this is just a taste of what I could experience as Miss America. Bring it on!
