Tuck Into This 16 Course Menu at One of DC’s Best “New” Spots

Wolfgang Puck’s The Source got a newly renovated dining room — and a cool new hotpot table! — in September, but while the look is stunning, the new IMG_8784menus are even more scrumptious.

You can delight in Wok fired dishes, Chinese BBQ, dumplings and hand-crafted cocktails in a space dubbed as District Chinese Kitchen.  But if you really want a special Source treat, check out the space overlooking a newly installed open kitchen in the lounge: A two-seat Chef’s Counter lets you watch the chefs in action with an inventive 16-course tasting menu.

The menu changes daily and focuses on seasonal test kitchen style dishes featuring raw fish, dumplings, noodles… Best nights include signature selections like seared veal sweetbreads with sweet miso dressing and Toro sashimi with black tobiko and garlic chili aioli.  Plus, wine pairings accompany each course.

Gives new meaning to a Sweet Sixteen.
