This Throwback Menu is About to Seriously Save Our Dining Out Budget
Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar is raising a glass to 25 years with a special anniversary menu featuring classic dishes at their original 2000 prices and a brand-new four-course tasting menu launching Monday, April 7, 2025.
âKeeping a restaurant concept fresh for 25 years is a really significant accomplishment,â said Barry Gutin, Principal & Co-Founder of Cuba Libre. âWe decided to mark the occasion throughout the rest of the year by offering some of our most popular dishes from our original menu with pricing from when we launched in 2000.â
Rollback Prices on Classic Cuban Dishes
Each month through December 30, 2025, Cuba Libre will highlight a different appetizer and entrée at their original 2000 prices, available Sunday through Thursday for guests with special 25th Anniversary dinner reservations.
Aprilâs offerings include crispy Chicharrones for $7.50 and the classic Arroz con Pollo for $16, plus a special bonusâ$8 classic mojitos. In May, diners can savor Sopa de Ajo con Pan for $6 and Camarones Enchilados for $20. The featured dishes will rotate monthly, giving guests a nostalgic and delicious taste of Cubaâs rich culinary heritage.
25th Anniversary Chefâs Tasting Menu
For those looking to indulge in an elevated dining experience, Cuba Libre is introducing a 25th Anniversary Chefâs Tasting Menu. Priced at $49 per person (with an optional $20 beverage pairing), this four-course culinary journey offers a feast of Cuban flavors:
First Course:
- Bread and Butter â Pressed Cuban bread with signature mango butter
Second Course (All Included):
- Cubano Pork Belly â Smoked and glazed grilled pork belly
- Creamy Chicken Croquetas â Dijon-garlic mojo
- Shrimp Cocktail â Cuban-style shrimp cocktail, Latino cĂłctel salsa
- Award-Winning Classic Mojito
Third Course (All Included):
- Ropa Vieja â Braised, shredded beef brisket with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and red wine
- Pescaoâ Frito â Crispy deep-fried red snapper
- LechĂłn Asado â Slow-roasted citrus-marinated pork shoulder with onion-caper mojo
- Arroz con Frijoles â Steamed white rice and black beans
- Maduros â Fried sweet plantains
- Wine Pairing: Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay or Dobbes Pinot Noir (5-oz)
Fourth Course (Choose One):
- Tres Leches Cake â Vanilla sponge cake soaked in three milks with mocha mousse
- Cuban Flan â Vanilla custard with dulce de leche, fresh whipped cream, and a vanilla cookie
