[Party Pix] Chef Charlie Palmer’s Pigs & Pinot a Charitable Wine and Dine
Earlier this month, food and wine enthusiasts tasted highly acclaimed Sonoma and Willamette Valley Pinot Noir wines — alongside tempting pork plates — at the debut of Pigs & Pinot in DC.
The 15th annual event in other cities, which features some of the most prominent D.C. chefs and winemakers from California and Oregon, also served to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign.
Chef Charlie Palmer brought the party to his DC establishment, where he was joined by Matt Adler (Chef Red Apron Butchery, The Partisan), Marjorie Meek-Bradley (Chef St. Anselm), Scott Drewno & Danny Lee (Co–Chefs CHIKO), and Victor Albisu (Chef/Owner Poca Madre, Taco Bamba).
Attendees tasted wines while enjoying bites of protein from family-owned Joyce Farms, dedicated to using humane, all-natural and regenerative farming methods and providing sustainably raised, heritage breed, antibiotic-free pork.
