Local food truck entrepreneurs Giuseppe and Mario Lanzone — Peruvian Brothers — opened their first brick-and-mortar location at Latin marketplace La Cosecha on February 1, 2020.

The 12-hour Grand Opening celebration and Peruvian party, co-hosted by the Embassy of Perú, was a veritable food festival, though it also happened to fall on International Pisco Sour Day.

There were pisco sour slushies to be sure, as well as empanadas, chicharron sliders, yucca fries and more.

Guests also enjoyed live drum music, dancing, art from Peruvian artist Jorge Caceres, and an adorable alpaca petting zoo.

Peruvian Brothers has grown, since 2013, from one food truck to three food trucks, a catering business, and now a permanent location.
