Inside Creative Coalition’s Supper Suite at STK
“I can’t believe that I am saying this again. I’ve said this so many times that I want to punch myself in the face.” — Creative Coalition President Tim Daly.
On Friday night, in advance of the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, celebs and arts advocates gathered at Dupont’s STK for the Creative Coalition‘s annual Celebration of Arts in America, this year dubbed Supper Suite. The annual dinner was the finale of a full day of celebrity advocacy on Capitol Hill in support of the arts.
Among those in attendance this year were Anthony Anderson (Black-ish); Michelle Trachtenberg (Gossip Girl); Rob Thomas (creator, Veronica Mars); Jason Isaacs (Dig); Constance Zimmer (Entourage); Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story); Jennifer Coolidge (2 Broke Girls); Andrew Dost (Grammy Award-winner, FUN.); Naya Rivera (Glee); Bailee Madison (The Fosters); Alanna Masterson (The Walking Dead); Connie Nielsen (The Following); Haley Joel Osment (Entourage); Emily Osment (Young & Hungry); Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars); Darby Stanchfield (Scandal); Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin); Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl); Lawrence O’Donnell (MSNBC’s The Last Word); Florida Congressman Ander Crenshaw; Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell.
Guests were treated to STK filets, maitake mushrooms with marrow butter, skuna bay salmon & tiger prawns with jalapeno grits and fava bean tabouleh as they attempted to raise “a F*ckload” (according to Trachtenberg) in support of programs to fund arts and arts education.
