Eataly Is Finally Coming to Greater Washington

After years of wishful thinking from local food lovers, Eataly is finally making its way to Washington.

The globally acclaimed Italian marketplace has announced plans to open its first Greater Washington location at Tysons Corner Center in 2027, giving the Capital region its own destination for fresh pasta, fine wine, authentic Italian ingredients, and immersive dining.

The two-level flagship (formerly occupied by the American Girl store) will feature Eataly’s signature “eat, shop, and learn” experience, pairing full-service restaurants and quick-service counters with a sprawling specialty market stocked with Made-in-Italy products.

Guests can browse artisanal cheeses, fresh breads, imported pantry staples, and regional delicacies before settling in for an Italian feast… all under one roof.

Already a culinary institution with 69 locations across 16 countries, Eataly has become a must-visit for travelers from New York to Milan. Its arrival in Tysons gives Washington-area foodies one less reason to hop on the Acela for an Eataly fix.
