Chef Patrick O’Connell’s “Main, Middle & Gay” Memoir Tour

Chef Patrick O’Connell’s celebration of his forthcoming memoir, Main, Middle & Gay, will take place at Lisner Auditorium on Friday, September 18.

For nearly five decades, Chef Patrick has transformed The Inn at Little Washington into a landmark of American dining. In Main, Middle & Gay, he shares the personal story behind that legacy, offering a candid look at the milestones, relationships, and experiences that shaped his career and the evolution of one of the country’s most celebrated restaurants.

Dubbed Chef Patrick’s “literary coming out party,” the special evening will bring that story to the stage through an intimate conversation with longtime friends José Andrés and Tom Sietsema — bringing together three influential voices in Washington’s dining scene for a night of storytelling, reflection, and celebration.
