Canadian Cabinet Manufacturer Ateliers Jacob to Open DC Flagship
A bit of Canada is coming to the U.S.! Ateliers Jacob, a renowned Canadian cabinetry manufacturer, recently announced the Spring 2025 opening of its U.S. flagship showroom, which will be located in the heart of Georgetown’s Design District in Cady’s Alley.
A second-generation family-owned company founded in 1987 just north of Montreal, Ateliers Jacobs provides high-end custom kitchen cabinetry and millwork design.

Its DC location will be open to the public and trade, with a showroom of kitchen, living, dining, and other vignettes in a wide range of materials and finishes ranging from natural wood species and high-end laminates to a variety of door styles manufactured in Canada, many inspired by Ateliers Jacob’s Canadian roots.
“At Ateliers Jacob, our passion for kitchen and millwork design extends beyond aesthetics; it’s about fostering well-being within the heart of people’s homes,” said Catherine B. de la Sablonnière, creative director at Ateliers Jacob and partner at Ateliers Jacob US flagship showroom. “With its charming buildings and bustling design scene, Georgetown was the obvious choice for our first U.S. flagship. It’s the perfect area to make a statement right out of the gate.”

Ateliers Jacob has locations in Québec as well as throughout Ontario and Alberta. The brand’s DC showroom is projected to open in May 2025 at 3330 Cady’s Alley, NW, Washington, DC, 20007. Hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
