Adams Morgan PorchFest Brings the Beat
Big beats, front-porch vibes, and a market made for treasure hunting. Adams Morgan Fall PorchFest returns (Sat. November 7, NOON to 5 pm) turning the neighborhood into a five-hour festival of live music, local makers, and main-character energy. Best of all? It’s free.
Presented by the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District, the twice-yearly bash brings more than 100 performances to porches, patios, parks, and neighborhood businesses. Expect Go-Go, rock, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, pop, and plenty of reasons to wander.

This fall’s lineup packs a punch, with Ron Moten’s Go-Go Truck, FutureBandDC, genre-blending artist Oddisee, and The Voice contestant Marilyn Hucek among the featured acts. The School of Rock Youth Stage also returns, giving the next generation of local talent its moment in the spotlight.
New this year: shopping joins the set list. The inaugural Adams Morgan PorchFest Market brings vintage finds, handmade jewelry, original art, and independent makers to two pop-up destinations: Vintage on 18th and Arts on Belmont. Created with Golden Hour Collective and Dupont Little Flea Market, the markets offer a little retail therapy between sets… and a head start on holiday gifting.

There’s more than music and merch, too. Because Science invites visitors to test their vocal chops with sound-reactive science and a plasma ball, while neighborhood restaurants, bars, and shops roll out specials for PorchFest wristband holders.
The game plan? Follow the music, fuel up locally, shop small, and let the afternoon unfold one sidewalk serenade at a time. Just remember: PorchFest isn’t a sip-and-stroll event, so alcoholic beverages must stay within legally permitted areas.
