‘When You Just Want a Glass of Wine’ Podcast Toasts Season 2 at National Landing

When You Just Want a Glass of Wine, the playful podcast hosted by Zena Polin and Renée Gentry, launched its second season with a sparkling soirée at The Westin Crystal City in National Landing.

The evening combined bubbly and banter, setting the tone for a new season that promises to keep wine accessible, approachable, and fun.

Guests sipped on three pours from Laurent Perrier: La Cuvée Brut, Cuvée Rosé, and Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature, each paired with salty snacks that brought out the wines’ personalities.

One of the highlights was a lively champagne sabering, which drew cheers before the live podcast taping began. Then, the hosts welcomed Molly Finnegan of Laurent Perrier for a candid conversation that mixed wine education with storytelling.

One lucky attendee even went home with a future stay at the Westin!
