Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. On Thursday – the night of the Real Housewives of DC reunion finale – cast member Mary Amons tuned out, hosting a cancer benefit at Saks instead of sitting in front of the TV. “I’m kind of over it,” Amons declared, citing “the Salahis and all of their nonsense” as the reason she was moving on from Season 1.
