Hank’s Oyster Bar is pleased to present its 2nd Annual Beer-B-Q event on Sunday, August 16th located at Hank’s On The Hill, 633 Pennsylvania Ave SE, D.C., 20003. With all-you-can-eat food specials and all-you-can-drink beverages, it’s the place to be for a brew and ‘cue.

This year, Hank’s On The Hill is proud to partner with Flying Dog Brewery to offer 10 unique Flying Dog draft beers, Beer Cocktails made with Flying Dog, Margarita Watermelon, an adult version of Flav-Or-Ice and additional Flying Dog beers not available to the public. The kitchen will be serving up coastal summer staples including Raw Oysters, Chesapeake Fried Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, Sweet Corn Hush Puppies, Grilled Chicken Wings, Seasonal Salads, Fried Oysters, Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw, as well as Key Lime Pie and Peach Cobbler for dessert.

Hank’s On The Hill is celebrating Beer-B-Q twice with the afternoon session, which runs from Noon-4PM or the evening session, which runs from 5-9PM. This September, Urbana’s Chef Ethan McKee will bring back his popular cooking classes emphasizing handmade pastas. The first installment will highlight the end of summer with pasta dishes made with produce from Chef Ethan’s rooftop garden on property.

Guests will take turns rolling and shaping gnocchi, pappardelle, an ravioli while learning how everyday kitchen tools can be used to fashion fresh, fast-cooking pastas. Featured dishes will include potato gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and arugula pesto butter; Tuscan kale pappardelle with zucchini  leeks and organic mushrooms; and ricotta ravioli with spicy eggplant Bolognese.

Feast on all-you-can-eat Roasted Pig, BBQ Oysters, Kalua Pork Sliders, Shrimp & Local Catch Skewers, Huli Huli Chicken, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Hawaiian Macaroni Salad, Exotic Fruit and Steamed Jasmine Rice made by Dupont Circle Chef de Cuisine Theary So. For dessert there will be unlimited Malasadas with Guava Custard and Haupia Coconut Cream. Each guest will receive a souvenir Tiki mug to fill with Mai Tais and an array of other Tiki drinks. For the month of September, to kick off the excitement, Hank’s Dupont will feature dishes inspired by Hawaiian flavors.
