Venga (“C’mon, Let’s go!” in Italian and Spanish) announced the release of a mobile app and website that gives customers the scoop on exclusive specials, events and music at nearby venues Wednesday event at the brand new Fiola by Fabio Trabocchi.
“Whether you’re looking for a wine pairing dinner, karaoke, or a half-priced burger, Venga knows where to find it,” said Sam von Pollaro, Venga CEO and co-founder.
Attended by such notables as Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman (whose girlfriend works for the new company), NFL Pro Hall of Famer Darrell Green, Presidential Speechwriter Cody Keenan, Mark Ein and Tammy Haddad, Venga’s launch was a night of cocktailing and connecting – as well as crossing fingers. The company gave away priceless prizes, including a meal for 10 prepared at the winner’s home by Top Chef contestant and Good Stuff Eatery and We, the Pizza owner Spike Mendelsohn.
