Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. An event for all of the fabulous foodies among us – that benefits the March of Dimes!

On Tuesday, October 26th, the best of local food, wine and other fun will come together for the annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction.  This is your chance to sample 25 chefs signature dishes and bid on enticing auction items (like chefs cooking in your own home!), all while helping to save babies across the country.

Held in over 200 cities, DC’s auction is now entering its 14th year, with more in store than ever before. Honorary Signature Chef 2010 Ris Lacoste welcomes you at the Ritz Carlton on 10.26.10 at 6:30 for an event that’s sure to be a perfect 10.
