Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Pig & Ink

PIGment. Yes, folks, this is happening.

Ba Bay, a new modern Vietnamese restaurant in Capitol Hill, EcoFriendly Foods, an agricultural advocate and farm, and Tattoo Paradise are joining forces with Tittsworth.com to 1) tattoo a pig and then 2) eat it.*

After the pigs have been inked, using all-natural cuttlefish ink of course, Ba Bay Chef Nick Sharpe will prepare them in modern Vietnamese fashion… Look forward to such delicacies as pork mousse and egg yolk dumplings in broth with smoked hock and celery hearts!

Reservations are required as seating is limited for this 5 course dinner to benefit the Red Cross in Japan on Monday, May 2nd. Seatings 5 PM and 8:30 PM, tickets $65.

*There is no danger from eating pork tattooed with cuttlefish ink.
