Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Her media portfolio includes a spread in Elle magazine and features on Inside Edition and BBC World News’ “The Real Cities” series. Paris’ La Coupole Pours into the Washington CLub

Supporters of water projects in developing countries gathered at the Washington Club Tuesday for a night of specially commissioned French perfume, music and food from Paris’ La Coupole.

The Rotary Club Paris Academies and the Alliance Francaise hosted the event to support the water conservation efforts of Rotary Clubs in developing countries and featured musical entertainment by
national recording jazz keyboardist Marcus Johnson and European DJ Young Pulse (above right), who joined forces to form Juris and record an album together.

Jean Ozonder of Rotary International, Sylvain Cornevaux and Alexandra Cousteau were among those enjoying bites prepared by Jean-Philippe Bourggeuil, the executive chef of La Coupole in France.
