NAS was the novelty at Bar 7 Sunday night, invited by DJs Armageddon and J*Rock for a special appearance during their “One Mic, One Night” event.
But if guests were expecting a brief live performance, or even a view of the notorious rapper, they were deliberately denied.
Arriving with little more than an hour remaining of the event, NAS chose to lounge in an elevated area obscured by a surplus of security instead of greeting the intimate group of fans who purchased tickets for the opportunity to rub elbows with him.
The rapper’s next local concert, Monday night at the 9:30 Club, is currently sold out. (Nas, singing and showing on time suggested.)
