After years of closure due to the pandemic, The National Geographic Museum is finally reopening on February 16th! Tickets were offered for free for the month of February, but quickly “sold” out.
Regardless, you can still plan in advance to see one of two exhibits.
“The Greatest Wildlife Photographs” brings together more than 60 of National Geographic’s most compelling wildlife photographs. And “Once Upon a Climb: Stories From Everest” delves into the history—and future—of this mighty mountain through gripping first-person narratives of the climbers, mapmakers, and scientists who know the peak best.
We also love the Museum Store, which is filled with captivating books, unique handmade products from around the globe, and useful travel accessories for your own adventures. Plus funds from either your shopping or your visit directly support NatGeo’s efforts in science, exploration, education, and storytelling.
