Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Pati will sign copies of her book, Pati’s Mexican Table: The Secrets of Real Mexican Home Cooking (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; Hardcover; $30), which showcases everyday Mexican dishes, from the traditional to creative twists.
