Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is pleased to announce that its popular Paella Nights will return on Wednesday, September 21 and 28, from 4 to 7pm in the Courtyard Bar.

Lush landscaping, cozy fire pits and ample seating creates the perfect venue for Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo’s live paella station.  Using a family recipe from his hometown of Barcelona, he will prepare and serve authentic Paella with shrimp, chicken, mussels and secret ingredients from his giant pan.  An array of gazpacho, pan con tomate, manchego cheese, serrano ham, tortilla de patatas, olives, anchovies and flan de caramelo will accompany chef’s Paella.

Paella is $18 per person and $10 for children up to 12 years of age, not including tax and gratuity. Specially priced glasses of red and white sangria will be available along with the Courtyard Bar’s extensive cocktail menu.
