Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. The Dupont Circle Hotel, Veuve Clicquot and The Phillips Collection are thrilled to announce a unique New Year’s Eve celebration where ‘ART Meets DESIGN on December 31. Featuring unique exclusive digital artwork from The Phillips Collection, signature designed bars, live DJ SETS, gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres, premium open bar, a Veuve Clicquot midnight champagne toast, and live social streaming, this New Year’s Eve celebration promises to be unforgettable!

The Dupont Circle Hotel’s urban-inspired Dupont Ballroom is the perfect locale to ring in 2015 in style. Guests will dance the year away with DJ Wolf Detrix and DJ Messi spinning the hottest tunes. Top shelf bars and passed hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef David Fritsche will keep the libations flowing and the food aplenty.

Before setting those obligatory New Year’s resolutions, guests are encouraged to indulge one last time for a unique experience. For $145 (taxes and fees included), a General Admission ticket includes open bar and assorted hors d’oeuvres from 9:30pm-1:30am. Guests can also ‘Take the Elevator Home’ with room nights starting at $259.00 + tax per night or a special experience with ‘Light Up the Night’ Room Package that includes two General Admission tickets, guest room at The Dupont Circle Hotel and a 2pm late checkout on January 1.
