Bloomingdale’s Chevy Chase is pleased to welcome members and friends of the Junior League of Washington on Thursday, April 4, 6:30-8:30pm, for a special spring fashion presentation by stylist and editor of Project Beltway, Rachel Cothran. Guests can enjoy makeovers from Bobbi Brown and hors d’oeuvres and sips from Ridgewells Catering as they watch members of the JLW model the top spring trends and pick up tips on how to incorporate these styles and key pieces into their own wardrobes.
Following the fashion presentation, Junior League members will have the opportunity to shop the store, and ten percent of sales from all purchases will benefit the Junior League of Washington’s efforts to improve literacy throughout the greater metropolitan area of Washington, DC. In honor of their Centennial, JLW volunteers have committed to purchasing and distributing 100,000 new books to children as part of the RESOLUTION READ program. Just $5 will buy two new, age-appropriate books for children in the DC area.
The second annual Spring Fashion Seminar for the Junior League of Washington will take place in At Your Service on Floor 2. Tickets are $10.00 in advance for both JLW members and guests; $15.00 onsite. Tickets can be purchased at www.jlw.org.
