Kate Michael, @kstreetkate, is a Writer/Model/On-Camera Host and Event Emcee. Notable as the Founder and current Editor-At-Large of K Street Magazine, Kate started the site while serving as Miss District of Columbia 2006 and competing in Miss America (2007). Currently, Kate works as a professional spokesperson and model, walking the runway for such industry icons as Valentino, Derek Lam, Naeem Kahn and Oscar de la Renta. Through its exclusive partnership with Blues Alley, Georgetown’s iconic home for jazz, The Fourth Estate is thrilled to present “Jazz Night”.

On Wednesday May 1, The Fourth Estate restaurant will be hosting performances by musician-members of the renowned Blues Alley Youth Orchestra. Now is your chance to hear the Oscar Peterson or Joshua Redman of the future.

The emerging musicians and orchestra alumni are graduates of America’s top music conservatories and among the most talented instrumentalists in the Washington, D.C. area. They will play during dinner from about 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. as background music.

There is no cover charge, and the musicians will be available for questions and answers from dinner guests after the sessions finish. All attendees will receive 10% off their bill and will also receive discounts to Blues Alley shows in Georgetown.
